SPOTLIGHT PRODUCT

Revamil Collagen is a combination of honey and collagen, aimed at treatment of various types of wounds, including delayed-healing ulcers, venous ulcers and diabetic wounds, decubitus ulcers, oncological wounds, 1st and 2nd degree burns, wounds following various kinds of surgery. The collagen brings the proteins to places where these are needed, and the honey prevents the occurrence of infections.

    My wife obtained an infection on her left foot. A wound developed with an area of 4 x 6 cm. Under supervision of the general practioner and surgeon, the wound was cleaned and covered daily. Various types of advanced wound dressings were applied, however all without positive result. Suddenly, the surgeon proposed to use Revamil. With success. Within three months the wound was closed, and my wife could use her foot again.

    Many patients after various surgeries were treated with Revamil. Among others, abdominal reduction surgeries are carried out. Due to the large incision and the tension on the tissue, these operations have a high risk of poor wound healing. In a group of 120 patients, fewer wound infections occurred in the group that received honey dressings (22% versus 45%).

  • Bronovo Hospital, The Hague (Netherlands)
    Experiences: a group of 50 patients with difficult to heal, chronic wounds were included in a study with Revamil. It was concluded that Revamil was effective in creating clean wound beds, and lead – in almost 60% of the cases – to wound closure within three months after start of treatment.
